This policy explains what personal information NAVIVO collects, why we use it and the choices you have. We follow UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
1. What we collect
Account details: your name, email address and sign-in information.
What you tell us: your goals, onboarding answers, weekly check-ins, profile details and the communities, events and challenges you join.
Location: the area you search or choose, and your device location only if you allow it.
Bookings and payments: session details and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by NAVIVO.
Technical data: basic device and usage information needed to keep the service working and secure.
2. Why we use it
To run your account and show you relevant communities, events and professionals (contract).
To send messages about things you've done, such as booking confirmations, event reminders and cancellations (contract).
To keep NAVIVO safe, prevent abuse and improve the service (legitimate interests).
Where you've given consent, such as device location — you can withdraw it at any time.
3. Health-related information
Check-ins and goals can reveal information about your health. We use it only to provide features you've asked for, keep it private by default, and never sell it or use it for advertising.
4. Who we share it with
Organisers see that you've joined their events. Professionals see the details needed for a session you book. We use trusted service providers for hosting, email delivery, maps and payments, who process data only on our instructions. We never sell your personal information.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you close it we delete or anonymise your personal information, except where we must keep records (for example payment records) for legal reasons.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your information, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. Email hello@navivo.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
7. Emails
We send emails about your account, bookings and events. You can change which updates you receive in Settings, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
8. Cookies and storage
We use essential cookies and device storage to keep you signed in and remember your area and preferences. We don't use advertising cookies.
9. Changes
We'll update this policy when our practices change and tell you about significant changes.
